John,
First let me thank you for the up front planning and help in making the decision to go with the Panasonic System and the Octel voicemail. You and your team looked at my needs and helped understand future growth requirements to ensure our system will be able to grow as we grow. Your in house office manager Sherri, has been very helpful in answering questions and tracking you down for technical questions about DID, Voicemail, Caller ID etc. before we installed the switch.
Your installation crew was excellent; they took down my old systems and had us totally back on line in less than 2 hours. They answered a special request to get 1 station up in 45 minutes to allow our VP of marketing to hold an important conference call from her office. Jerry did an excellent job of orchestrating the start-up of the new extensions as Jamie worked the punch down block and Sam tested stations as they came on line.
When my fellow employees started showing up for work their telephones were on line and ready to go. They logged onto their voicemails, put in their personnel information and the system ran like clockwork. Jerry was very impressive handling questions, which arose from staff as they tried the new system. Jerry took the time to hold impromptu training sessions with people as they needed help and was a real pro at sorting out "operator error" from programming changes needed in the system.
In the first two days of operation of the switch and voicemail, I have heard nothing but positive comments about the new system and how much "better it is than the other system". I've installed new telephone systems, networks, and software applications through other vendors in the past and can honestly say, " I have never experienced a system start-up that has ever been this smooth", Hillcomm are truly "Smooth Operators".
